Fine-Tune the Instrument

Prior to performance, each Symphony Orchestra gets ready for their performance and each musician takes the time to tune their instruments with each other. The result is a master piece of work under the guidance of the conductor.

Imagine if you will another picture, each musician walks into the room, takes their instrument out of the case and they all start their performance without tuning their instruments. A master piece.. hardly.. even to the untrained ear, the sounds would be out of queue and distract from the beauty of the piece.

Take the time to fine tune your body, your bike, your shoes, your nutrition and any other instrument you need to perform. In unison these components will make your race a masterpiece. On the contrary, ignoring each of the instruments that comprise your orchestra of performance, will lead to that missed opportunity for greatness. Keep up the good work, be consistent with your training.
